Tournaments and competitions that the students may attend are generally USKTA, AAU, USTU, or ACTA sanctioned events. Students are encouraged to attend these events but are not required to attend.  Tournaments build confidence and allow the student to measure his or her skills against those of other schools.  The MorRi Do School has found that students can qualify and compete in national level tournaments without the school sacrificing the rest of the curriculum to concentrate heavily on tournament skills.
