Programs
There are several program
options available and it is best to contact the school and have a program
recommended especially for your situation.
Some of the programs are listed in the pages for Introductory
Lessons, Tryout Lessons, and the Standard Program.
Joining
the School
Everyone is allowed up to two introductory lessons free. This allows
the
the parents to become comfortable with the way classes
are taught. It allows the student to
find out what they will be expected to do. And, finally it allows
the instructor to judge whether the student is ready and serious enough
for the training. This is of
particularly important for the very young students (4-5) to assure they
have the focus to get through the training.
Generally these lessons can be done during a regular class, however for
the very shy a private lesson can be arranged.

Family and Corporate Discounts |

There are family discounts as
well as corporate discounts available.
There are often special discounts available. To take advantage of these discounts the prospective
student or family should call and a program will be designed for them. There
is a discounted sustaining rate for black belts to encourage continued
training and maintenance of their skills. Transfer
Students
Transfer students are welcome regardless of the martial art that
they have studied. The
transfer student is evaluated by the instructor and assigned a belt level
based on the level of the techniques they can demonstrate.
Transfer students are expected to observe all of the etiquette of
the school. In the event the
transfer student is new to the Tae Guek or Pal Gwe patterns special
instruction will be provide so the student can quickly catch up.
Black belt
students in Tae Kwon Do are asked to wear yellow stripe for the first
month to indicate to the students that they are a transfer black belts. This will avoid the student asking them some information
that is school dependent that they may not know such as a particular
school rule. Transfer
black belts are allowed to teach only after approval by the head
instructor.

Extended Programs
The school
has various options for programs. The basic program does not involve
a contract and is billed monthly. However, for the serious student
there are 3, 6 and 12 month programs that provide a discount on the costs.
